Dr. Stessman serves as the Director of Executive Services for USAKansas. He concluded a 34 year career in public education in 2022, having worked as a teacher, coach, and administrator, including 22 years as a superintendent in districts of varying size across Kansas. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dana College, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Emporia State University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Wichita State University. Dr. Stessman lives in Topeka, Kansas, with his wife and is the father of five adult daughters.
