Description: This is a methods course, with special emphasis on learners with high-functioning autism spectrum disorders. Particular attention is given to effective practices and strategies for teaching, managing, and promoting social skills and social communication development, and proactive social interactions. The course will explore high functioning autism symptoms and the signs of high functioning autism for a variety of age ranges.
